STC's Secretariat Holds Regularly Scheduled Meeting and Focuses on Certain Security Violations in the Capital, Aden

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC's Presidium and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

In its meeting, the Secretariat stood before a range of issues taking place in the governorates of the South, the most important of which were the security violations witnessed in the capital, Aden, particularly in Al-Tawahi, Sheikh Othman, and Dar Saad” districts, stressing the need for the security services to do their duty in maintaining security and stability and to resolutely respond to any actions targeting public tranquillity.

The Secretariat underscored the importance of the security services addressing all security imbalances, strict liaison and coordination between its various units and institutions, concern for the public interest, and awareness of the responsibility placed on them in securing and protecting the capital.

The meeting discussed the organizational report to develop and improve the level of performance of the Secretariat submitted by the organizational department, which includes a number of suggested solutions to the work of the sections in the departments and the development of models that have been used to raise the level of work in the upcoming period.

The meeting also touched on a report on the achievements of the activities of the departments of the Secretariat during the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting after taking into account the raised remarks.
