The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC's Presidium and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

The meeting reviewed the report on the completion of the heritage exhibition event organized by the Woman and Child Department in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, under the title “Our Heritage is Civilized Cultures [Imposes] Peace”, which aims to enhance awareness and understanding of the diverse heritage of the South, which is rich in traditions, customs, arts, and crafts and represents a wonderful opportunity for communities abroad to discover and explore varied aspects of a wide range of southern heritage and exchange experiences about its cultural and social contributions.

In this regard, the Secretariat lauded the efforts of the Woman and Child Department by organizing a distinguished exhibition in Cairo, the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, which aimed not only to promote southern culture to an Arab and international audience but also to preserve southern heritage.

The meeting discussed a report on the political scene submitted by the Political Department, which focused on the most prominent topics and issues in the southern arena during the first half of November.

The meeting touched on the weekly activity report of the departments of the Secretariat over the past week, as well as reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
