Al-Kathiri Discusses Current Developments in Economic and Service Conditions with Governor of the Capital, Aden

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met today, Sunday, with Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden.

The meeting, which included two members of the STC's Presidium, Mr. Abdul Raouf Al-Saqqaf, Undersecretary of the Aden Governorate for Youth Affairs, and Brigadier General Ali Al-Jabwani, discussed the latest developments in the economic and service conditions in the capital, Aden, and issues that prioritize urgent solutions on the local scene.

The meeting touched on the workflow of local authority offices, the major challenges they face, the most prominent development projects, and the priorities to be implemented during the upcoming phase.

Mr. Al-Kathiri praised the role of the local authority and its tireless efforts to stabilize the situation, promote the capital Aden, and improve the living situation of citizens, asserting that the National Assembly will do its best to stand by the local authority to perform its duties and ease the difficulties facing its work in a way that will positively reflect on the reality and lives of citizens.
