The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), and Commander of the Southern Giants Brigades, Mr. Abdul Rahman Abu Zara’a Al-Muharrami, highlighted in a press statement on Sunday that establishing a telecommunications company operating from the capital, Aden, is the choice of the free people and will equally serve citizens and the resistance away from Houthi control.
Mr. Al-Muharrami said: Establishing the telecoms company in Aden is the choice of the free people because it will serve the resistance against the Houthi, provide services to citizens in the liberated areas, far from the control of the Houthi, and stop the support that goes to the Houthi militia every day, every minute, and every second of telecom revenues, in backing the war effort, knowingly or unknowingly.
Indeed, letting Houthi-controlling telecoms exist for years until now with no fundamental solutions can be considered a major crime committed against the liberated areas and all those resisting the Houthis. How many losses on the battle fronts and liberated areas were due to telecoms?
At the end of his statement, Vice President Al-Muharrami expressed thanks to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the Public Telecommunication Corporation, and all those who contributed to the success of such projects that serve citizens.
