Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani reviewed the stages of liberating some governorates that were affected by the Houthi terrorist militia, including the Capital, Aden, and the victories achieved by the Southern Resistance and the repelling of the Houthi assault project in 2015, referring to the generous support provided by the Arab coalition forces led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in support of the resistance to fight Al-Houthi and expel them from Aden.
Major General Al-Bahsani also gave a briefing on the seizure of the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization on the Coast of Hadramout, imposing restrictions on citizens and freedom, the control of the organizations over banks, institutions, and state revenue companies, disturbing public tranquility in the governorate, and the subsequent plans and ideas that were discussed between the former President of the Republic and the leadership of the Arab coalition to liberate the city of Al-Mukalla and the Coast of Hadramout from terrorism on the 24th of April 2016.
Al-Bahsani explained the challenges faced by Hadramaut governorate after liberation, focusing on the treacherous bombings that targeted the Hadrami Elite Forces on the first day of Ramadan after the liberation, the efforts that the leadership of the local authority redoubled at the time to establish the pillars of security and stability in the coastal districts, and the subsequent operations to eradicate terrorist groups represented in the Battle of Al-Massini Valley and the Black Mountains.
Al-Bahsani highlighted that Hadramaut, after getting rid of extremist terrorist groups, has contributed to the global war against terrorist organizations, provided about 400 martyrs from the Hadhrami Elite Forces, and succeeded in rooting out about 800 from Al-Qaeda.
