STC's Presidium Applauds Attorney General's Anti-Corruption Measures and Asserts Standing with him to Implement the Rule of Law

The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting Today, Tuesday, chaired by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC.

At the beginning of the meeting, the president reviewed the results of his successful visits abroad, which included the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom (Britain), the content of the meetings he held with ministers, ambassadors, and representatives of the brotherly and friendly countries sponsoring the political process, the international position on the cause of the South, and the importance of putting it in a special negotiating framework that guarantees a just solution meeting the aspirations of our people.

During the meeting, the Presidium praised the fruitful results and positive outcomes  achieved in President Al-Zubaidi's visits and meetings, highlighting the importance of continuing to mobilize regional and international support for the cause of the people of the South and enhancing its presence.

Then, the Presidium stood before a range of developments on the national scene, focusing on the deteriorating daily living situation of citizens and calling on the local authorities in the governorates of the South to seriously work and effectively find solutions to meet their requirements and address their problems.

Furthermore, the Presidium praised the measures taken by the Attorney General to combat corruption and protect the environment, affirming its standing with him in whatever is necessary to implement the rule of law and impose penalties against violators of its provisions.

After that, the Presidium discussed the suggestions raised about the assignment of competent staff from the STC's bodies to the local leaders in the governorates of the South to complete the restructuring process. In this respect, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of expediting the completion of the governorate-level restructuring process, the completion of the organizational structure of the bodies, and the promotion of well-qualified and capable young people who are able to give and cope with the developments of the stage.

To the end of its meeting, the Presidium discussed a range of topics and issues related to the work of the STC's bodies and their organizational performance and took the appropriate measures in this regard.
