The Research and Decision Support Center (RDSC) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held on Sunday its first meeting in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Lutfi Shatara, deputy chairman of the National Assembly and head of the RDSC, to stand before pressing issues on the southern landscape and on external levels.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Shatara conveyed to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), and emphasized the keenness and full attention that his Excellency attaches to the work of the RDSC and its implementation of entrusted tasks and responsibilities.
The meeting has shed light on the STC's restructuring process and the broad lines of its orientations, work mechanisms, by-laws, and specializations, in a way that promoted the role of the Center in supporting the decision-making of the political leadership of the South to encounter challenges both at the internal and external levels.
The meeting underscored the level of assumed responsibility and the role of the RDSC in the upcoming phase by providing studies, analyses, and broadening perspectives in various aspects and raising recommendations that would effectively assist the political leadership of the South in making decisions and the best possible choices that achieve the aspirations of the people of the South.
