Major General bin Brik Meets with Representatives of Southern Unions and Syndicates

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Barik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Saturday evening with the representatives of southern unions and syndicates.

 Major General Bin Brik conveyed the greetings of  President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, informing them about the contents of external visits of the leadership of the Council, including the visit to the Russian Federation in line with efforts exerted by the STC's leadership to  cease the war and establish peace and settle the cause of the South as per the aspirations of our people.


 Major General bin Brik referred in his speech to the restructuring process that will include all the STC's bodies, as well as security and military units in the South, noting that it is a process that runs according to precise legal principles and objectives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of both political and military sides.

 Bin Brik emphasized the great responsibility placed on the unions and southern syndicates, considering them one of the monitoring tools for assessing the work of institutions, combating corruption, and protecting workers' rights. Afterwards, Bin Brik listened to a range of opinions, observations, inquiries, and demands to strengthen the work of unions and syndicates, stressing that they will be at the top of the list of priorities for the STC's leadership in the upcoming phase.
