Major General Bin Brik Meets with Head of Specialized Penal Prosecution in Aden

Major General Ahmed Said Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Monday with the head of the 
Specialized Penal Prosecution of Aden, Judge Anis Nasser Ali.

The meeting, which was attended by lawyer Niran Souqi, member of the STC's Presidium, deputy Chairman of the Assembly, discussed the level of  performance in the prosecution, the difficulties it faces and the ways of enhancing joint cooperation for maintaining security and stability.

Major General Bin Brik listened to the cases being handled by the prosecution concerning terrorism, drug smuggling and other issues, stressing the importance to accelerate the proceedings of the cases and the need to address the pending ones.

The Acting President of the STC praised the performance of the specialized penal prosecution in the capital and the governorates of the South and the major efforts exerted by the prosecutions in tackling serious issues that destabilize security and stability and threaten the country's national security, such as terrorism, smuggling, drug trafficking and other issues.
