STC's Representative in Russia Meets with Head of CMES
The representative of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) to the Russian Federation, Dr. Mohammed Al-Afifi, met on Saturday in Moscow with Dr. Irina Zviagelskaya, Head of the Center for the Middle East Studies (CMES) of the IMEMO.
The meeting discussed the importance of cooperation in the fields of research and contributing to the provision of insightful information and valuable studies that assist in decision-making by offering suggestions, proposing alternatives, engaging in profound reading, having fruitful discussions, encouraging creative thinking, and finding enlightening visions on many challenges.
Dr. Al-Afifi affirmed the high value of cooperation to benefit from expertise in these centers to enhance political feasibility and develop the level of performance.
Al-Afifi briefed the CMES team on the vision and goals of the STC to achieve the aspirations of the people of the South to establish their own independent, sovereign federal state and contribute to strengthening regional and international peace, security, and stability.
