SCRHA Launches Distributing Food Baskets to Families of Martyrs of the South

The Supreme Committee for Relief and Humanitarian Action (SCRHA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) inaugurated in the capital, Aden, on Wednesday, a project to distribute food baskets to the families of martyrs in the governorates of the South, under the generous patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC).

At the inauguration, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the STC's Presidium and head of the SCRHA, affirmed that this humanitarian aid came as per the directives of President Al-Zubaidi, who pays full attention and the utmost care to the families of the martyrs and wounded who sacrificed themselves for the sake of restoring the state of the South.

Mr. Al-Kaf indicated that 22,000 food baskets will urgently be distributed to the families of the martyrs in all governorates of the South, according to the arranged lists, which were supervised, sorted, and identified by the well-qualified authorities in the STC.

Al-Kaf added that the tracks will simultaneously travel to the various governorates of the South to be received by the relief committees and the executive bodies of the STC in the governorates to be distributed to the families of the martyrs.

In turn, the families of the martyrs expressed their sincere thanks to the leadership of the STC, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, for this favored gesture and his continuous and generous care and support for the families of the martyrs in the South.

The inauguration was attended by Mr. Esam Abdo Ali, in charge of the STC's head of local leadership executive body (LLEB) in the capital Aden, and Mr. Aad Mohammed Ali Haitham, head of the Social Affairs Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the STC, and Mr. Osama Mohsen bin Brik, head of the Martyrs and Wounded Department in the General Secretariat, and from the LLEB of the capital, Aden, Mr. Mazen Al-Baghdadi, head of the Social Affairs Administration, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Saadi, head of the Martyrs and Wounded Administration.
