Ben Brik Reviews with Deputy Chief of Staff Situation of Military Personnel in Governorates of the South

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Sunday, met with Lieutenant-General Saif Saleh Mohsen Al-Dhale'i, Deputy Chief of General Staff.

In the meeting, the situation of the military personnel in governorates of the South was discussed, and stressed on reactivating the work in departments of the Ministry of Defense and returning a multitude of security and military commanders to perform assigned tasks according to their expertise both in Aden and the rest governorates of the South.

The meeting also reviewed the military situation in the fighting fronts, particularly the fronts of Al-Dhale'a, Al-Hadd, Karesh and Al-Musaymir, and the necessity of keeping the combat forces in a high vigilance whilst securing all requirements of these forces to withstand against the coup of Houthi militias.

The meeting touched on the outcomes of Riyadh Agreement and Consultations, in light of the changes and developments that have affected the course of events in the South, in general.

The meeting also stressed the necessity of cohesion and unity of the southern efforts to overcome the crucial turning points and current crises that the South is passing through it, in various fields.
