Ben Brik Reviews Activities of CAMA, Re-opening Al-Riyan Airport and Ways to Develop International Airports

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met, on Wednesday, with captain Saleh Salim Ben Nahid, director general of Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority (CAMA) and his technical advisor, Eng. Abdullah Saleh Al-Shabibi.

In the meeting, the chairman of the Assembly was briefed on working progress of CAMA and the ways to promote and develop the international airports, re-open Al-Riyan Airport, and procedures of improving and upgrading Aden International Airport service.

Major General Ben Brik lauded the performance of CAMA, pointed out the need to attentively focus on airports, progress the work, and re-open the abandoned airports to alleviate travellers' suffering, and ease both of local movement and abroad travelling, from one side, and enhancing prospects of cooperation with the neighboring countries, on the other side, stressing on opening the airports that will definitely contribute to revive the economic situation, which, in turn, will be reflected on the living conditions in the country.
