Ben Brik Meets Member of Presidency of the Southern National Coalition

Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), met, on Monday, member of the presidency of the Southern National Coalition, Mr. Ahmed Salem Al-Fadhli; the official spokesman of the coalition.

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Lutfi Shatara, member of Presidency of the STC, Deputy chairman of the National Assembly, discussed the general political situation in the South and ways to develop a good rapport with the southern political components by putting aside all differences, bridging the gap and strengthening the southern cohesion between the STC and the other components, social and national personalities to reconstruct the South and achieve a better life for all the southern people.

The meeting stressed the need to unify the southern efforts to protect the public interest of the South and its people, find clear visions and open broad political horizons.

To the end of this meeting, it was agreed to launch abroad Southern meetings and consultations to serve cause of the South and the determined goal that all southerners have been struggling to achieve; which is to restore the State.
