The Training and Rehabilitation Sector of the National Southern Media Authority inaugurated on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, a training course for media members of local leaderships of the Transitional Council and the press and modern media sector from the capital Aden, and the governorates of “Lahj, Abyan and Al Dhalea” on “video shooting skills”, under the generous sponsorship of the President of the Transitional Council Southern, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi.
The head of the media information department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, member of the National Southern Media Authority, Dr. Basem Mansour, delivered a speech conveying the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, to all participants and attendees, in which he pointed out to the importance of this training course emanating from the efforts of joint training and rehabilitation sector in the National Media Authority and the Media Department in accordance with the plans drawn to enhance the capabilities of the southern media.
Dr. Basem affirmed the keenness of the Transitional Council and his great interest in developing and enhancing southern media skills in all its various fields, in a manner that serves the community and the aspirations of the Southern Transitional Council, urging the trainees to make the most of this course and reflect what they receive from it on the ground, wishing them success in that.
In turn, Dr. Abdullah Al-Haw, Head of the Rehabilitation and Training Sector, member of the National Southern Media Authority, explained that the course aims to raise and strengthen the capabilities of southern media members in the aforementioned governorates, noting that the National Southern Media Authority will implement a busy program to develop the skills of competencies and media cadres in all governorates of the South, calling the trainees to intensify and multiply practical efforts and to present exemplary images to see the good effects of media work on the ground.
On the first day of the three-day training course, with the participation of 20 trainees, the press and modern media sectors in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of Lahj, Abyan and Al Dhalea, the participants learned about the main features of professional video shooting, and basics of photography and the methods required in it to increase their skill capabilities and use of scientific and professional standards in video shooting.
