Al-Jaadi and Al-Halimi meet with Follow-up Committee for Achieving Southern Accord

The Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, and Mr. Murad Al-Halimi, member of the Presidency of the Council, head of the External Southern National Dialogue Team, met on Thursday, with the Follow-up Committee to Achieving Southern Accord.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Jaadi welcomed the committee to follow up on achieving the southern accord, pointing to the importance of establishing a southern consensus that ensures the stability and development of the South and achieve the aspirations of its cause and people, stressing the importance of all efforts to unite southerners.

For his part, Al-Halimi presented an explanation of the activities of the External Southern National Dialogue Team, and the tasks and the meetings it made with various southern parties and personalities abroad, reviewing the agreements and understandings that was made, which would strengthen southern consensus for the benefit of all southerners.

Al-Jaadi and Al-Halimi got briefed by the committee on its vision and program of work, which included a meeting with political and revolutionary figures of the southern revolution with the aim of strengthening southern national cohesion to serve the cause of the people of the South and the project of their state.

The meeting stressed the importance of communication between the people of the South at home and abroad, stressing the need for the continuation of southern meetings and coordination in order to achieve the hopes of the people of the South.

In turn, the committee for Achieving Southern Accord expressed its appreciation to the Deputy Secretary-General and the Head of the External Southern National Dialogue Team for providing the opportunity to hold this meeting, stressing that all possible efforts have been made to achieve everything that is in the interest of the south and its people.
