Major General Bin Brik meets members of the National Assembly from Lahj governorate

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, met on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the Assembly, with a number of members of the National Assembly from Lahj governorate.

In the meeting, which included Ms. Intisar Khamis, Advisor to the Chairman of the National Assembly for Woman and Child Affairs, Major General Bin Brik briefed the members of the Assembly from Lahj governorate on the latest developments in the southern arena, and the current and rapid developments on the military and political levels.

The meeting discussed a number of services issues that the citizens suffer from in all the governorates of the South in general and in Lahj governorate in particular, and the obstacles that stand in the way of the work of the members of the committees in the National Assembly within Lahj governorate and how to develop solutions to enhance their work activities, and to clarify the vision and policy of the Southern Transitional Council and its position of those problems that the people of the South suffer from as a result of the wrong policies pursued by the competent official authorities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik assured all the attendees that the situation will improve gradually, in conjunction with the presence of our negotiating delegation in Riyadh headed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, in which the southern citizens will sense that improvement in the coming days.
