The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department, which presented the most prominent issues related to the South, including the interview of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, with the Saudi newspaper Okaz, the report also provided the most important developments in the governorate of Shabwa, as well as the interactions related to the visit of the European delegation to the capital, Aden, and the most prominent regional and international reactions and condemnations of the terrorist explosion near the gate of Aden International Airport.
The meeting discussed a report of job discipline of the General Secretariat staff for the month of October 2021, submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department, it also previewed on a report on the performance of the Economic Department during the third quarter of the year 2021.
The General Secretariat, in its meeting, praised the decision of the Secretary-General, the Governor of Aden the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, to provide fuel for public transport, in order to deliver the students of the university from remote areas to their colleges at the University of Aden, stressing that this reflects the level of care and concern for education and the future of youth.
The meeting also touched on a number of political, economic, security and service developments on the southern arena, as well as organizational issues related to the level of workflow in the departments of the General Secretariat and local leaderships in the governorates.
The General Secretariat reviewed the weekly activities reports of its departments, as well as the minutes of its previous and approved it.
