Technical Committee for Studies and Researches reviews reactions of UN envoy's visit to Aden the capital

The Technical Committee for Studies and Researches, on Sunday, held its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Dr. Saeed Al-Jamhi, Chairman of the Committee.

The meeting previewed the most important developments of events on the southern arena, including the visit of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Hans Grundberg to the capital, Aden, and the analytical readings related to this visit and the reactions associated with it.

The meeting stressed the importance of following up on studies and researches centers and reviewing their research studies reports regarding the South to provide a clear analysis that the council and its bodies would benefit from.

The committee discussed the mechanism of the work plan of its meetings and its contents, and the expantion in its structure, and it also reviewed the draft regulations for its work, provided that it is subject to discussion and review.

The meeting stressed the importance of media monitoring and the process of analyzing it technically, and coordinating efforts to strengthen institutional work in the field of studies and research with the competent authorities.

The committee reviewed the needs necessary to perform its work, as well as the proposals for its work activities during the coming period. It also reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
