The National Southern Media Authority, on Tuesday, held its periodic meeting, headed by Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the authority.

The meeting discussed the mechanism of implementing the media strategy for the rapid political and military developments in the South, and the mechanism of confronting the war waged by the hostile media to disperse the home front and destabilize security and stability in the South.

The meeting also discussed the contents of the speech of the President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, foremost of which is the declaration of the state of emergency, and the call for public mobilization to confront the dangers facing the land of the South by the Houthi militia and the forces of terrorism and extremism, praising in the context the great role of the southern media and its continuous keeping up with the developments in the South, and its reflection of positive resonances of the speech, as well as its response to the hostile media aimed at provoking chaos, violence and igniting strife.

The meeting stood in front of the media scene of the events in Shabwa, denouncing the silence and ignoring of the media outlets that claim to support legitimacy, due to the failure of the Brotherhood militias that control the governorate in protecting it as they handed over their positions in Baihan to the Houthi militias in a clear agreement between the two terrorist militias.
