President Al-Zubaidi chairs the periodic meeting of military and security commanders
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on Tuesday, chaired the periodic meeting of the military and security commanders.
The meeting discussed the latest developments on the southern arena, warning against the persistence of the Houthi militia and the forces of terrorism and extremism, which are trying to invade the South again, stressing that the dreams of invading the land of the South will be shattered in front of the hardness and pride of the heroes of the southern armed forces.
The meeting called on the southern armed forces with all their formations to raise combat readiness, and state of alert, and readiness to carry out combat missions to defend religion, land and honor, and mobilize energies to confront the Iranian Houthi militia, and any other threats and dangers.
The meeting emphasized that the southern armed forces would not waste an inch of the pure land of the south, and that what was happening in Shabwa governorate was a result of the handover of Shabwa to the Brotherhood militia, which turned its back on the Houthi militia, and directed its weapons towards the people of the governorate, in a clear service between those militias.
The attendees also discussed the procedures of the general mobilization process, and the national defense of the southern homeland, and planning and preparedness to confront the threats of the Iranian-backed Houthi, and terrorist elements.
The attendees stressed the importance of strict implementation of all measures of the state of emergency, including the continuation of the security campaign to seize unnumbered cars and unlicensed weapons, and to apprehend the perpetrators of any illegal acts, or any practices that disturb security and public tranquility, appreciating in the context the great popular response to the declaration of the state of emergency.
In conclusion, the meeting discussed the security situation in the governorates of the South, in addition to the performance of the restructuring committees of the southern armed and security forces, as well as the activity of the Supreme Economic Committee on the military side, in addition to a number of related issues and took the necessary measures in their regard.
