President Al-Zubaidi discusses with BG Tariq Saleh Recent Developments in the Military and Economic Situation
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), discussed over the phone on Thursday the latest military and economic developments with Brigadier General (BG) Tariq Saleh, Head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance and Vice Chairman of the PLC.
President Al-Zubaidi and Brigadier General Saleh reaffirmed their support for the measures taken by the Central Bank to stop the Houthi tampering with the economy by obligating commercial, Islamic, and microfinance banks to move their headquarters to the capital, Aden.
The two sides reviewed the latest developments of the dangerous Houthi escalation on a number of fronts, particularly the fronts of Karsh and Al-Dhale'a, as part of their attempts to undermine the UN endeavors to bring peace by pursuing the Iranian agenda aimed at controlling the region.
At the end of the call, the two Vice Chairmen of the PLC reiterated the importance of continuing to coordinate efforts between all national forces in the battle against the Houthi terrorist militias, militarily, politically, and economically, until victory is achieved.
