President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), conducted an inspection visit on Monday to review the workflow at the Ministries of Civil Service and Insurance (MCSI) and Social Affairs and Labour (SAL).
President Al-Zubaidi began his field visit at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, where His Excellency was received by the Minister of the SAL, Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Za'ouri, along with several of the ministry's undersecretaries.
The President reviewed the workflow within the ministry and the key programs and activities implemented in the fields of social welfare, the regulation of trade union work, and the protection of the most vulnerable groups.
His Excellency also received a detailed briefing on the ministry's efforts to facilitate the work of international and local civil society organizations operating in the humanitarian and developmental fields, ensuring the effectiveness of humanitarian interventions and their alignment with government priorities.
President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships with international and local organizations and regulating their work to maximize the benefit from the conducted programs, contributing to supporting social stability and improving citizens' living conditions.
As part of the field visit, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi visited the MCSI and was received by the minister, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, along with the ministry's undersecretaries and directors general.
During the visit, the President received a detailed briefing regarding the level of performance and workflow, as well as the ministry's plans and programs aimed at enhancing professional discipline.
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the ministry's achievements in completing the procedures for implementing 17,000 job positions across the governorates, in addition to the files concerning financial settlements and allowances, addressing dual employment in civilian and military positions, and the efforts to organize an accurate database for employees.
The President stressed the importance of completing administrative reforms, accelerating the processing of employee files, ensuring employment justice, and continuing efforts to enhance institutional performance efficiency to improve the workflow in all state institutions.
