The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Monday, under the chairmanship of Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, the member of the Presidency, Acting Secretary-General, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Action Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees stood for a minute of silence to read Surat Al-Fatiha for the soul of the deceased Mr. Amin Saleh Mohammad, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, who died on Monday, asking Allah Almighty that the deceased would be blessed with the mercy of Allah and dwell in him in heaven.

The meeting listened to the report submitted by the Economic Department, which reviewed the most prominent economic issues in the southern arena, foremost of which is the problem of the continuous displacement to the capital Aden and other southern governorates, which exacerbated the deterioration of the economic and service situation and made it worse.
