Al-Kaf and Sooki visit warehouses of drugs supply program in Aden the capital

Eng. Adnan Mohammad Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting Secretary-General, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Work Committee in the Council, with lawyer Niran Sooki, the member of the Presidency, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, paid a visit on Monday, to the warehouses of the National Drug Supply Program in the capital Aden.

During the visit, Al-Kaf and Sooki got briefed on the available stock of medicines, medical, sanitary and preventive tools, and the level of securing the needs of centers and quarantines for the Coronavirus of these supplies throughout the governorates.

Dr. Suad Misri, Director General of the National Program for Medicinal Supply, gave a detailed explanation of the mechanism for receiving, storing and distributing drug supplies, the most prominent problems and obstacles facing the program when distributing the governorates' supplies, and ways to find appropriate and rapid solutions and treatments that ensure these supplies reach hospitals and health centers smoothly.

At the end of the visit, Eng. Al-Kaf directed the Corona Response Committee in the Council, in coordination and cooperation with the program administration, to speed up processing the quantity allocated to Radfan district in Lahj governorate, including medicines, health and medical supplies, and preventive means facing the virus, and arranging for their transportation and delivery as quickly as possible.

 The visit was attended by Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Chairman of the Health Committee of the National Assembly, Acting Director of Al-Jumhuriya Hospital, Dr. Amani Amber and Engineer Jayab Atef and Khaled Shoubah, members of the Corona Response Committee of the Southern Transitional Council.
