The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Khoabji

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Wednesday, its second periodic meeting in this week, chaired by Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Acting President of the Transitional Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.

The meeting reviewed the most prominent developments in the Southern arena, foremost of which are the repercussions of the continuous economic collapse and its negative effects on the citizens' living.

The Presidency called on the 50/50 government to play its role in alleviating the suffering of the citizens, and meeting their needs, and working to find urgent solutions to stop the continuous economic deterioration.

The Presidency affirmed that it stands by the citizens and adopts their legitimate demands and their right to live a decent life, confirming its principled position that is always tends towards the citizens and adopting their issues.

The Presidency warned whoever tried to harm the security of the citizens or exploit the state of popular anger to sow unrest, cause chaos and disturb public tranquility, through actions outside law and order, calling on the security services to play their role in this aspect.

In the meeting, the Presidency reviewed the report submitted by the Decision Making and Support Center, on the most prominent developments in the Southern arena and the interactions related to emergency developments at the regional and international levels.

The meeting also discussed many organizational topics within the Council’s bodies, in which related decisions and actions were taken in this regard.
