Head of Negotiations Affairs Unit meets the designated Prime Minister

The head of the negotiation affairs unit of the Southern Transitional Council, Dr. Nasser Mohammad Al-Khubaji, met on Thursday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the designated Prime Minister, Dr. Moein Abdul-Malik, within the framework of implementing the Saudi pack of measures to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.

The meeting discussed the formation of the new government of political competencies equally between the south and the north, and the priorities of the files that need urgent treatment by the new government, as well as ways to face the challenges of confronting the Houthi militia in the northern governorates, and building and securing the southern governorates and the other liberated areas through activating the state institutions, and the government to carry out its duties and obligations towards citizens, including providing public services and fighting corruption.

The meeting stressed on the importance of completing the formation of the government according to the scheduling shown in the announcement of the package of measures last July.

Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji was accompanied by Deputy Head and Members of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Yafie, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, and Deputy Head of the General Department for Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Al-Ghaithi.
