President of Self-Administration for the South meets Director of Yemen and Kuwait Bank in the capital Aden

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, President of the Self-Administration of the South, met on Monday at the Assembly’s headquarters with Ms. Lamia Mujawar, Assistant General Manager of the Bank of Yemen and Kuwait, Director of the Bank in Aden region, in presence of the two vice-chairmen of the National Assembly, Attorney Niran Souki, the member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, and Dr. Anis Luqman.

In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed Ms.Lamia Mujjur and praised the national and professional positions of the bank’s administration in the capital Aden, and its pioneering role to maintain the stability of the currency and prevent speculation in the local markets.

For her part, Ms. Lamia thanked the President of the self-administration for the good reception and for the opportunity to be informed closely about the problems and pressures facing the bank workers, expressing support for the right decision taken by the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council in the declaration of Self-Administration in the south, to recover the country from the poor conditions in services and alleviate the suffering of citizens and stand by them in achieving their legitimate rights.

At the end of the meeting, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik confirmed the readiness of the self-administration to support the overcoming of the difficulties, and to consider all issues that have been raised and urgently resolved in a manner that preserves workers' rights in the bank.
