Secretary-General meets Director of Transitional Council Foreign Affairs Office in Canada

The Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met on Monday in his office in Aden the capital, Mr. Abdul Karim Ahmed Saeed, Director of the Office of the General Administration for Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council in Canada, in the presence of Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Sokatri, the Assistant Secretary-General.

Lamlas got acquainted on the status and activities of the Transitional Council Foreign Affairs office in Canada, and its level of engagement with the Canadian government and the political authorities, as well as its relationship with the southern community in Canada.

Abdul Karim affirmed that the Transitional Council office in Canada is in contact with various political parties there, and familiarized them with the issue of the south and the struggle of the southern people in order to restore their state and the role of the Southern Transitional Council in this context and its keenness to establish strong relations with the Canadian government and people, pointing to the follow-up of the people of the southern community there to the southern events and their participation in the activities of the Southern Transitional Council in Canada.

Abdul Karim stressed on the blessing of the southern community in Canada for all the steps of the Southern Transitional Council and its support for its leadership to lead to liberation and restoration of the southern state.

Lamlas stressed on the need for the Transitional Council office in Canada to communicate with decision-making parties in Canada and work with the people of the south and the southern community there to reflect the civilizational image of the southern people abroad, stressing on the support of the leadership of the Transitional Council to all efforts of the Office of Foreign Affairs and the leadership of the southern community in Canada and the other southern communities around the world.
