Vice President of the Transitional Council meets members of southern community in Liverpool of UK

The Vice-President of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Ali Bin Brik, met on Wednesday, a number of southern activists, and members of the southern community in the British city of Liverpool, as part of his visit to the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, the Vice-President of the Transitional Council briefed the members of the southern community on the developments of the situation in the south and the efforts made by the Transitional Council to lead the people of the south towards achieving their goal of restoring a full sovereign state, in addition to the results of the Riyadh Agreement and the measures that the Transitional Council is undertaking to make the agreement successful.

The Vice-President praised the role of the citizens of the south in the United Kingdom, especially women, stressing on the Transitional Council’s interest in the role that the southern woman played and will play during the next stage, and its keenness to involve women in political process and give them confidence in decision-making alongside the man, as well as activating the work of civil society organizations that have been marginalized by Sana'a authorities since 1994.

The Vice President of the Transitional Council urged the people of the southern community to be active in the British community to be the best ambassadors for the south through adhering to laws and regulations, exhibiting ethics and tolerant behavior, and participating in all aspects of political, social and economic life in their society.
