Major General Ben Brik meets the Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, received on Wednesday, at the headquarter of the National Assembly in the capital Aden, the Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations, Adel Sidou Noor Ali.
The meeting discussed some important issues regarding recovering the bad conditions of the elderly home in Sheikh Othman, and providing the most basic humanitarian services for it.
In the meeting, an initiative was proposed to form a medical team to visit the Prison Authority (Mansoura Central Prison), to conduct periodic medical examinations of prisoners and provide them with health care.
Maj. Gen. Ben Brik expressed his readiness to cooperate and provide support to issues of concern to the capital Aden in particular, and the south in general.
Ambassador Adel Sidou thanked the Chairman of the National Assembly for this meeting, and promised to adopt all humanitarian issues in accordance with the available capabilities.
