The Presidency of the Transitional Council holds its weekly meeting under chairmanship of Al-Jadi

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly meeting on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jadi, Acting President of the Transitional Council, Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Council.

The meeting discussed the stalling and procrastination of the Yemeni government in payment of salaries to southern military units to thwart the implementation of the Riyadh agreement, and the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council called on leadership of the Arab Coalition to press on the Yemeni government to pay the salaries as per Riyadh agreement.

The meeting also discussed, the disclaims of the government to provide services to citizens as in the electricity sector, and to evade affording fuel to stations, and stopping the financial appropriations of the water sector, and also other sectors deliberately for the third consecutive month to increase the suffering of the citizens, and to thwart the attempts of the Arab Coalition countries, especially Saudi Arabia to normalize life in the southern provinces.

The meeting reviewed the Yemeni government illegal distribution of a large number of contracts for public lands and parks, to order to complicate the security situation, in which the Transitional Council capabilities will be directed to support the police and public works offices, and local authority leadership in the districts, under the supervision of the judiciary and the Public Prosecution to preserve the public properties, calling on the citizens to cooperate in reporting these violations.

The meeting followed the latest developments in the province of Al-Mahra, and the conspiracies to hand over the province to the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist leaders, the meeting warned of the dangers of these plans, calling on the Arab Coalition to be alert and deal in speed with them to maintain security and stability in the province and the south in general.

The meeting praised the massive event in Al-Ghaida, the capital of Al-Mahra, which expressed the popular refusal of the province to be part of suspicious plans.

The meeting expressed thanks and appreciation to the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim al-Zubaidi, who announced a general amnesty for those who got arrested in the events of August, in which they were released immediately after the decision announcement.

The meeting demanded the leadership of the Arab Coalition to oblige the Yemeni government to release the southern detainees in Shabwa and Marib, who are held by the government for more than three months in bad, provocative and arbitrary conditions, and also make the government stop its acts that confirm its intentions to thwart the Riyadh agreement.
