The Presidency of the Transitional Council discusses developments of Jeddah dialogue

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly meeting on Sunday, under the chairmanship of Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Speaker of the National Assembly, Acting President of the Transitional Council.

The meeting reviewed the developments of Saudi-sponsored Jeddah dialogue, and the positions of the so-called legitimate government usurped by the Muslim Brotherhood, and obstructing the efforts to make the dialogue a success.

The Presidency Council affirmed the adherence of the Southern Transitional Council to the national principles, and the strategic partnership with the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, stressing on the need to direct the various military formations of the Yemeni government towards the fronts of fighting against Houthi militias.

The meeting stressed on the adherence of the Transitional Council to managing the liberated southern provinces, and rejected the attempts of the Muslim Brotherhood, and disturbing the security and stability in these areas.

The Presidency warned of the danger of military escalation carried out by the Brotherhood's legitimacy, and its attempts to change the situation on the ground in some areas of the valley and coast of Hadhramout, noting that the main objective of such attempts is to blow up the situation and thwart Jeddah dialogue, requesting at the same time the leadership of the Arab Coalition to stop this escalation, and pushing for the completion of the dialogue, to direct the various possibilities to fight the Houthi coup militias.
