Thousands mourn martyr Abu al-Yamamah and his companions in Al-Katee cemetery in Crater

A funeral procession marched on Wednesday, by thousands of people from the south, mourned the martyr Brigadier Mounir al-Yafi (Abu Yamamah), and a number of his comrades who died after the attack on Al-Gala'a camp last Thursday.

The Martyr Al-Junaidi Square in the city of Crater in Aden the capital witnessed a large presence of the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council and heads of local leaderships in the southern governorates and a large crowd of media and representatives of public, civil and human rights organizations, and a great number of citizens, and the families of martyrs and their relatives and friends.

The crowds who gathered from morning until the arrival of the bodies at after noon prayers raised images of the martyr Brigadier Mounir al-Yafi (Abu Yamamah), and chanted revolutionary chants glorifying the martyrs and expressing the continuation of the peaceful struggle and popular escalation until full independence and the establishment of the southern state.
