Director of Transitional Council Office in Canada meets Canadian Parliament member for Foreign Affairs

The Director of the Foreign Relations Office of the Transitional Council in Canada, Abdulkarim Ahmed Saeed,  and Dr. Abdul Moneim Al-Hamam, member of the Coordination Secretariat, met on Friday with Ms. Anita Vendenbeld, member of the Canadian Parliament for Foreign Affairs of the ruling Liberals Party.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues related to the southern issue, the most important of which is the humanitarian situation and the suffering of the southern people in light of the war on the southern borders.

Abdul Karim Ahmed previewed to the Canadian official on the current situation and the suffering of the south and its people as a result of the fierce attack led by the Houthi militias and its allied Northern Forces to try to invade the south for the third time through the Dhalea province, where fighting rages there for the second month.

The Director of the Office of the Transitional Council, regretted the international community stand by not to react against the brutal aggression of the Houthi militias on the southern people, and not to take any serious step to stop them.

The Director of the Office of Foreign Relations expressed the hope that Canada will play a positive role in this issue based on humanitarian principles and resolve the Yemen crisis through dialogue and peaceful means among all the parties on the ground.

Anita Vendenbeld was briefed on the political and international moves of the political leadership of the Southern Transitional Council led by President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi to achieve the visions and ambitions of the people of the south .

For her part, the member of the Canadian Parliament expressed concern about the tragic humanitarian situation caused by the war in Yemen, especially in areas of military conflict, wishing this war to reach to an end
