Military and Security Priorities discussion held by Researches and Studies Department of the General Secretariat

The Department of Studies and Researches in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transition Council organized a Ramadan evening entitled "Priorities for Military and Security Construction of Various Types of Forces in Current Status and its Future Extensions for the coming Southern State".

The assistant secretary general of the presidency of the southern transitional council, Fadhl Al-ja'di delivered a speech stressing on the importance of discussing such topics, pointing out that the southerners are establishing today the institutions of the southern state, which comes in the forefront of military institutions despite all conspiracies that much has been done in this area."

Al-Jaadi reviewed the great victories achieved by the southern security and military forces and the southern resistance in various fronts, the latest of which are the victories of the Dhalea Front.

The Assistant Secretary-General addressed the participants saying: "We need more vigilance to confront and overcome conspiracies aimed at our cause, in which everyone should provide all their efforts and observations to contribute to the military construction of the desired southern state".

Dr. Najib Salman, Head of the Research and Studies Department at the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, opened the evening with a speech welcoming the attendance of the former and current southern military leaders, stressing that they are considered a reference not to be neglected in which their knowledge and experiences are useful should be used as much as possible.

The participants of former military leaders and consultants and experts discussed the priorities of building a strong army recalling the history of the former southern army and the preparations of its different units, they also praised the outputs of the second meeting of the leaders of the southern resistance.

A documentary film about the former South Army was screened in the evening, showing its various configurations, and its readiness and capabilities as one of the most important Arab armies at that time, before it was completely destroyed in the shadow of Yemen unity by the Sana'a regime.
