Ben Brik: We are with peace but we are ready if war imposed on us

The vice president of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Ben Brik said in a statement: "We started coordinating the southern resistance in the last war in 2015, on the same day that the forces of Al-Houthi and Ali Abdullah Saleh attacked Al-Anad base,",

Exactly after the invasion of Al-Anad base and falling the Minister of Defense in captivity, and then the actions followed in which leaders of the first row in the southern resistance appeared in that period and a lot of leaders got martyred, and the incident of Alwaht in Jahes farm was perhaps the most severe incident on us, in one day and in one site 24 of the finest citizens of the South were martyred, and we have never faced such incident in Aden. "

He added: "One of the most difficult and most prominent challenges we faced, was how to avoid Al Qaeda and Islamic Brotherhood party of being dominant in the scene, and how to make the leadership of the fronts and battles sites under faithful trustees of the South citizens, and we succeeded in this, thank Allah, besides we have never enabled them of taking control of any front of ours ".

For the updates in the past four years, the Vice President of the Transitional Council pointed out that: "the invaders were expelled, and our ambition now is the stability of our independent homeland and the stability for our neighbors in the Yemeni Arabia away from the domination of the Persians and the Islamic Brotherhood party, and this is what we will work on" .. Noting that: "the South today is different than before, the people have a great understandings and ambitions, and our relationship with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates is marked by blood. "

For the Arab Coalition position regarding the independence of the South, Ben Brik said: "There is no country in the world that respects itself and its people will agree on adopting the occupation and the rape of nations under any pretext. No country in the world has the right to adopt the oppression of people, we seek from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and all neighboring countries, and the world not to stand against the will of the southern people for their self-determination, and the difference in timing is not a difference in origin, agree or disagree with them on timing is something, but our disagreement on the origin of self-determination is another thing, the right of self-determination is not disputed, and the Southern diplomacy has succeeded in achieving a lot of gains at the international level by bringing the southern issue to international forums and decision-making centers. "

Regarding the scenario of continuing the war, Ben Brik said: "We are not with the option of war at all, we are with peace and always will be, but if the war is imposed on us, then we will defend ourselves, we are not against Houthi as a person, but we are against his Persian project,"…Ben Brik stressed: " The Arab coalition will not succeed in the north as long as they depend on the Islamic Brotherhood party".

On the security imbalances, the vice president of the Transitional Council explained that: "security imbalances exist in all countries, including the major ones, but in Aden we have those who want to show it as security occupied". Ben Brik pointed out that: "the legitimacy of the Brotherhood party is behind it, so we recommend the security leaders to be steadfast and not to give chances to them".

About the level of satisfaction with the results achieved so far, Ben Brik said: "We are satisfied with what has been achieved in the south, and dissatisfied with what is happening in the north, our brothers, the people in the north, they deserve everything good, and what is practiced by the party of the Brotherhood of betrayal is very dangerous, so we need a storm uprooting them from top to the smallest traitor ".

On the subject of satellite channels and radio stations to be launched, the vice president of the Transitional Council said: "We are in the final stages of this," calling for all to be determined and to stand by the leadership that have given the confidence.
