The Southern Transitional Council Condemns the Terrorist Attack in Helwan, Egypt



  Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council condemned in the strongest terms the heinous and cowardly terrorist attack on the coptic church of Mar Mina in Helwan district, south of Cairo, Egypt that resulted in killing and injuring a number of people.

  In its statement, the STC Presidency confirmed its full solidarity with the Egyptian government and the great Egyptian people that has long fought terrorism and its sponsors, It also confirmed its confidence that such acts can't weaken the will of Egypt in its fight against terrorism.

  The statement said that the Arab Republic of Egypt is the heart of the Arab world and it must always be safe and stable. The STC is fully confident that terrorism and those behind it; governments and extremist groups, will not triumph over the great Egyptian will.

  The Presidency added: "We have all suffered from terrorism and as we offer our condolences to the families of the victims, we call on all the international parties to take serious and immediate steps to help and support Egypt in the fight against terrorism.
