Al Zubaidi Emphasizes the Importance of Hadramout in the History of the South

   The president of the Southern Transitional Council Maj. Gen. Eidros Qasim Al-Zubaidi, hailed the importance, the place and the sacrifices of Hadramout in the  contemporary history and its its peaceful revolution and the armed struggle with the southerners against the enemies of the South .

During the extended meeting, held today in Al-Mukalla, with a number of academics, intellectuals, human rights activists and politicians of Hadramout, Al-Zubaidi stressed the need for concerted efforts and efficient teamwork away from injustice, exclusion, marginalization, fanaticism, regionalism and partisanism , so they can be at the level of responsibility to face the challenges of the current and next stages which considered as decisive stages and meant to take the  southern ship to safe shores for establishing the state of the South for all the southerners under the roof of justice and equality.
Al-Zubaidi reiterated that the STC doors are always open for all to coordinate and consult to achieve the desired goal.

For their part, members of the STC Presidency touched on a series of important topics related to the announcement of the council and the formation of its various bodies and departments in addition to the difficulties and obstacles .
They also revealed the existence of an economic committee to study the assets , the mechanisms and the characteristics that could contribute effectively in building up the coming southern state  .

The STC members also affirmed the importance of giving special attention to the future generations and exploiting youth energies to keep abreast of the successes achieved in the developed countries . They called on the people of Hadramout to present their proposals and their remarks to put the council on a correct path.


From their side, the academics, intellectuals, human rights activists and politicians of Hadramout appreciated the steps taken by the Southern Transitional Council since the historic announcement of Aden and the 4th of May popular delegation given to the commander Eidros Al-Zubaidi, passing through the formation of the Southern Transitional Council on the 11th of the same month, reaching to the latest steps represented by the establishment of the National Assembly and the local STC headquarters in all the southern provinces .
