STC Presidency Members Pay Visits to Zahra and Djamila




  A number of members of the Southern Transitional Council paid visits to the southern wounded strugglers; Zahra Saleh and Djamila al-Yafei.

The activist Zahra Saleh along with others got injured in a violent suppression perpetrated by the pro-legitimate government forces at a rally held by the inhabitants of Abyan to protest against the government celebrations of the 55th anniversary of the 26 September Revolution in Zinjobar. The struggler Djamila al-Yafei was a victim of an assault to prevent her from attending a ceremony organized by the government of Ahmed Obaid Bin Dajr to mark the 54th anniversary of the glorious 14th October Revolution in Aden.

During the two visits , the members of the Southern Transitional Council,the  head of Finance Department Adnan Al-Kaf, the head of Rights and Freedoms Department lawyer Niran Souki and the head of the Cultural Department Dr. Mona Bashraheel conveyed the greetings of the STC President Major General Eidros Al-Zubaidi, and his deputy, Sheikh Hani bin Brik and they got assured of their health and their situation following the serious assaults of  Bin Dajr's government .

The STC members affirmed that the visits to wounded persons and offering consolation to them is a part of the Southern Transitional Council duties to stand by them and to raise their morale and to relieve the  hardness of the difficult circumstances they are passing through .
