The Southern Transition Council Pays homage to the Veterans of the Revolution in Radfan





   The Southern Transition Council paid homage to a number of Radfan revolutionaries on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the glorious October Revolution.

At a special ceremony held on Thursday 19 october 2017, the head of the  STC Cultural Department Dr. Mona Bashraheel said that honoring those veterans reflects the gratitude of the Southern Transition Council to their roles and their sacrifices for the liberation of their people from the British occupation that perched on our land 129 years .

Bashraheel said that Radfan has a great and a special place in the southern revolution history and moreover,as it is well known that it is the region from which the spark of revolution had been triggered and for its victory Radfan offered a long convoys of martyrs .

For his part, the vice president of the Southern Movement(Hirak)in Radfan,Faisal Mohammed Omar confirmed in his welcome speech, the Radfan's people support to the Southern Transition Council , expressing their appreciation to the STC leadership for participating with them the celebrations of the glorious October Revolution.

The ceremony program also included various artistic performances; national,folk dances,musical operetta and poems that well received and applauded by the audience .
