The Southerners Perform Friday Prayers on Madram Street in Aden

A large number of the southerners along with members of the Southern Transitional Council ; Head of the Information Department Lutfi Shatara , Head of the Regulatory Department Amin Saleh and Head of the Mass Action Department Sheikh Aqeel al-Attas performed Salat al-jumu'ah in the open air in the main street of Al-Ma'ala as part of the STC program to mark the 54th anniversary of the October revolution .

In the Friday sermon , Sheikh Wadah al - Subaihi reminded the people of the desired objective that martyrs sacrificed their soul for  ; Freedom and Independence , Stressing the necessity to follow in their footsteps considering abandoning that objective will be seen as humiliation, betrayal and mercenarism .

 Sheikh al - Subaihi called to hold on to the principles and to be committed to values warning them not to be dragged behind funded calls that want no good for the South and for it's people ,  stressing on the unity of the southern front and the importance of leaving all the differences behind them for the sake of the  sacrifices of the southern revolution martyrs   .

He made it clear that the doors of the Southern Transitional Council are open to all the Southerners who share the goal of liberation and independence
