STC's Secretariat Reviews Political Landscape and Discusses Performance Reports of Certain Departments


The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the Presidium of the STC and deputy secretary general, and in the presence of Mr. Abdo Ali Al-Naqeeb, Assistant Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed the report of the political landscape during the past two weeks, which contained the defining and crucial turns of the uncompromising struggles of the people of the South, including the consultative meeting and the signing of the National Charter, as well as holding the sixth session of the National Assembly in Hadramout Governorate and the emanated decrees and recommendations.

The secretariat, too, discussed the performance reports of the economic, media, and cultural departments for the first quarter of this year and the relationship between the two departments and their functionally-oriented coordination with the sub-departments (administrations) in the governorates of the South.

During its meeting, the Secretariat stood before a range of topics and issues in the governorates of the South in the service and economic aspects and presented suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow.

The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report of departments of the General Secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
