Al-Khubaji Receives Delegation of CHD


Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Political Authority and Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), received on Monday, in his office in the capital, Aden, a delegation from the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (CHD), which is a Swiss-based organization.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Khubaji affirmed the STC's keenness and support for all endeavours aimed at achieving comprehensive peace, at the forefront of which is putting a special framework for the cause of the South to ensure the establishment of a comprehensive and lasting peace in the South, Yemen, and the entire region.

Dr. Al-Khubaji touched on the various phases of the Southern National Dialogue and the positive and constructive results that have been achieved through the dialogue in uniting the southern ranks on a common goal and crystalizing visions to restore the state of the South and fulfill its complete independence.

For her part, Ms. Sarah Al-Khamri, Director of Programs and Projects at the CHD, gave a brief explanation of the interests and activities of the specialized center in working to resolve armed conflicts, including the ongoing conflict in the South and Yemen.

Ms. Bukhari affirmed the center's keenness to prioritize dialogue and discreet diplomacy to resolve all conflicts and its support for all efforts and endeavors to bring this orientation to success, away from the language of violence, war, and weapons.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mazen Mohammad Saleh, office director of the head of the political authority of the STC, Mr. Wahib Hassan, director of public relations in the authority; and from the Swiss Center, Mr. Adam Baron and Mr. Mohammad al-Qadhi, the center's advisors.
