NSMA Stands before Outcomes of Symposium; "Hucksterism of Muslim Brotherhood Media in Dealing with Terrorist Acts in the South"

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), on Thursday, held its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), head of NSMA, 

The meeting began with a review of the agenda and assignments adopted in the previous meeting, foremost of which are the annual reports of the sectors that will be submitted to Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council ( STC) for discussion and approval.

The meeting then stood before the recommendations of the symposium held, on Monday, by NSMA on "Hucksterism of Muslim Brotherhood Media in Dealing with Terrorist Acts in the South", and the level of impact and interaction that have been achieved; besides, the qualitative participants and distinguished papers that were presented.

NSMA indicated the highly significant recommendations that came out of the symposium confirm stability of the STC in its approach and position of terrorist organizations and the supporting groups. In the context, NSMA offered thanks to all the bodies, agencies and personalities who interacted with the symposium and contributed to bring it to success.

After that, the meeting reviewed a report submitted by the media department, on the difficulties and obstacles encounter progressing the work, in addition to the crystalized vision on developing the work of the official website of the STC, to ensure its efficiency to cope up with the rapid artistic and technical developments.

To the end, the meeting listened to a brief explanation from head of the modern press and media sector on the status of media centers and websites affiliated with the sector,  the meeting also stressed on the need to regulate and activate the work of media centers in the governorates and websites, to ensure conducting its mission and achieving the determined goals.
