President Al-Zubaidi receives delegation of dignitaries, social and political figures from Hadhramout and Shabwa governorates

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today, Friday, received a delegation of dignitaries and social and political figures from Hadhramout and Shabwa governorates, led by Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Al-Kathiri, head of Hadhramout Tribes’ Reference in the Valley, and Mr. Abu Bakr Al-Seri, Vice-President of Hadhramout Inclusive Conference, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Hamed, member of the Shura Council, first Secretary of the Socialist Party, and Sheikh Hassan Al-Jabri, Head of Implementing Hadhramout General Outcomes Committee “Harro”, leader of the second Hadrami uprising.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the dignitaries and social and political figures of Hadhramout and Shabwa governorates, praising their active role in the success of the Riyadh consultations and in supporting the political process that culminated in the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council.

President Al-Zubaidi pointed to the importance of the role of tribal and societal references in assigning the leadership of the Presidential Council emanating from the Riyadh consultations, stressing in the context the importance of solidarity, cohesion and rapprochement at this stage in the history of our people.

President Al-Zubaidi noted that the southern national alignment represents a successful model for a broader alignment within the framework of the one front to confront the Houthi militia, which continues its arrogance and intransigence, violating all peace initiatives.

For their part, the dignitaries and social and political figures from the people of Hadhramout and Shabwa offered congratulations and blessings to President Al-Zubaidi on the occasion of the success of the Riyadh consultations and the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council, stressing their standing behind the leadership of the council and their support for all the steps that the leadership will take in order to end the war and restore security and stability to the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, official spokesman for the Transitional Council, and Brigadier General Saeed Al-Mohammadi, head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Hadhramout governorate.
