President Al-Zubaidi Receives a number of leaders of the Yemeni Islah Party

The President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Deputy chairman of Presidential Leadership Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday evening, received a number of leaders of Yemeni Islah Party (the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party).

In the meeting, the president reviewed developments of the political, economic, and military situations in the liberated governorates, stressed that a new historical stage has begun and it must responsibly be accommodated, stressing the need to reject differences and work loyally for the sake of the homeland and the citizens away from narrow partisan agendas.

Addressing the leaders of Islah party, the president said: "The stage is critical and the challenges are great, and we must be at the level of the assumed national responsibility to work to liberate the areas still under the control of the Houthi militia as soon as possible."

President Al-Zubaidi added, "Our duty as elites is to strive to build State institutions in the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates, and work to cohesively unite efforts and lining up to confront the common enemy that is represented by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia."

For their part, the leaders of Islah party offered congratulations to the president on the formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and the success of Riyadh consultations, stressing that they would remain at hand of the leadership of the Council and ready to perform its directives and accomplish the assigned national tasks, thanking the president Al-Zubaidi’s solid stances in the face of the Houthi militias.
