Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), confirmed that the outlined objectives set for the military exercise project to bolster the units of the 2nd Military Division and the security and police services on the Coast of Hadhramaut to full combat readiness have been achieved with great success and have garnered admiration and praise from the political leadership.
This came during his meeting today, Friday, in the district of Almukalla, with members of the Security Committee of the Coast of Hadramaut, in the presence of Hadramaut Governor's Undersecretary for Security and Defense Affairs Brigadier Saleh Lahmadi, 2nd Military Region Chief of Staff Brigadier Mohammed al-Yemini, Director General of Security and Police in the Coast Brigadier Mote'a al-Manhali, and commanders of brigades, axes, military, and security units. The meeting aimed to evaluate and analyze the military and security exercises and drills that were carried out within the program of the 8th anniversary celebrations of the liberation of Hadhramaut Coast from the terrorist elements of AQAP.
Brigadier General Al-Bahsani indicated that analyzing military and security tasks after their execution is an essential part of any military or security project that is implemented, noting that this exercise came after careful consideration over the past years and that its delay was due to the preoccupation of leaders and units with major tasks to maintain security and stability in Hadhramaut. He praised the capabilities and advanced level displayed by the brigades and military and security units in carrying out the tasks efficiently and effectively.
Al-Bahsani explained that the exercise carried out by the Hadrami Elite Forces (HEF) and security services is the first of its kind in the liberated governorates, and it comes to strengthen and coordinate joint action between the brigades and units affiliated with the HEF and security in anticipation of any emergency or challenges that may threaten security and stability.
At the end of the meeting, Brigadier General Al-Bahsani honored the leadership of the Arab Coalition Forces, the command of the 2nd Military Region, the brigades and units affiliated with it, as well as the General Directorate of Security and Police, the Police College in Hadhramaut, and the Political Security Services for their effective participation in the success of the activities of the 8th anniversary celebration of the liberation of the Hadhramaut Coast from the elements of terrorism.
