STC Hadramout Launches Food Basket Distribution for Vulnerable Families in Valley and Desert Districts

The Assistant Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) for the Affairs of the Hadramout Valley and Desert districts launched on Tuesday the distribution of food baskets that is provided by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for the needy families across the Valley and Desert of Hadhramout.

Sheikh Karama bin Salem bin al-Saqeer, deputy head of the Assistant Executive Body, explained that this humanitarian initiative comes in appreciation for the people of Hadramout Valley and Desert. He added that the launch of this convoy coincides with popular celebrations of the victories achieved by the Southern Armed Forces in A'areen in Shabwa governorate, the districts of Hadramout Valley and Desert, and Al-Mahra governorate.

Mr. al-Saqeer confirmed that the coming days will see further batches of relief aid arrive in the Valley and Desert districts as part of the ongoing humanitarian programme offered by the STC to support families in need and enhance their resilience and alleviate their suffering amid challenging living conditions.

At the end, beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for this generous gesture, which has helped ease their burdens, and praised the Executive Body's efforts in organising and delivering the aid to those who rightly deserve it.
