The STC Acting President Chairs Capital Aden Security Committee to Discuss Security Plan for Blessed Eid al-Adha

The Security Committee of the capital, Aden, convened a key meeting today, Wednesday, at the National Assembly headquarters, chaired by Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, and head of the Security Committee.

The meeting reviewed the details of the security plan prepared by the specialized agencies, which focuses on enhancing security deployment across various districts of the capital and securing prayer yards, public parks, gardens, markets, and vital facilities that witness a large turnout of citizens and visitors during the Eid period.

The meeting underscored the critical importance of stepping up both foot and mobile security patrols and reinforcing measures at the capital's entry and exit points to maintain security and prevent any attempts to destabilize the security.

During the meeting, Mr. Lamlas emphasized the paramount importance of full coordination and cooperation among the various security and military units and services, raising the level of vigilance and readiness, and dealing decisively with any violations or acts that could threaten public tranquility.

Furthermore, the STC acting president directed the security services to facilitate and organize traffic flow to alleviate congestion and provide a conducive environment for both residents and visitors to enjoy the Eid holiday in peace and tranquility.

At the end of its meeting, the committee commended the tireless efforts exerted by the security services to maintain security and stability in the capital, Aden, calling on citizens to collaborate with the security personnel, adhere to the instructions and guidelines issued, and promptly report any suspicious activities, highlighting that the security of the capital is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts by all.
